About our apprenticeship program
We're looking for a motivated trainee to join our holistic aromatherapy spa as a massage apprentice. This is a hands-on learning programme: you'll be trained from the ground up in therapeutic massage and wellness treatments while supporting our experienced therapists day to day. No prior experience needed, just a genuine interest in wellness and a willingness to learn and commit. Over the course of the programme you'll build the skills to grow into a full-fledged spa therapist with us.
Job details
Responsibilities:
Learning techniques and protocols for spa body treatments and massage as trained by experienced therapist
Providing body and massage services to spa staff in order to perfect techniques and skills during the apprentice period
Assisting Spa Manager in the start of day or end of day tasks
Cleaning equipment and common areas used after performing services
Maintaining neatness of service waiting areas
Folding towels and linens for use in the service areas
Wash towels and linens after a full day of operation
Performing any tasks assigned by Spa Manager/Supervisor
Requirements:
Able to communicate in Malay and English.
Ability to work on a shift schedule
Strong interest in massage therapy and aromatherapy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented and customer-focused environment.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced therapists.
